Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup organic maple syrup
  • 1/3 cup packed organic light brown sugar
  • 4 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pink Himalayan salt
  • 1/2 cup organic cold-pressed virgin coconut oil (unrefined)
  • 5 cups organic non-GMO old fashioned rolled oats
  • 2 cups raw whole almonds, coarsely chopped
  • 2 cups organic raisins

Directions

  1. Adjust oven rack to upper-middle position and preheat oven to 325°F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk maple syrup, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt together in a large bowl. Whisk in coconut oil.
  3. Fold in oats and almonds until completely coated.
  4. Spread mixture evenly onto prepared baking sheet.
  5. Using a stiff spatula, press mixture down firmly until very compact.
  6. Bake until lightly browned, about 40–50 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven and cool completely on a wire rack (about 1 hour).
  8. Break cooled granola into desired-size clusters.
  9. Transfer to an airtight container and gently mix in raisins.

  • ¼ tsp organic poultry seasoning

  • ½ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  3. Transfer to slow cooker. Add broccoli, potatoes, and stock.
  4. Add seasonings and stir to combine.
  5. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 hours.
  6. In a bowl, whisk flour into milk until smooth.
  7. Stir mixture into soup, switch to HIGH, cook 1 hour.
  8. Turn off heat and stir in cheddar cheese until melted.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy.
